The EA Sports PGA Tour has a new trailer and history

The EA Sports PGA Tour is coming in May as a sequel to the 2K Golf series. Home to the most famous competitions in sports, the game simulates each of our strikes with terrifying accuracy.

After 2K’s last golf game, PGA Tour 2K23, went really well, and now EA has the club in their hands – will they be able to find a hole right away? With the EA Sports PGA Tour available for all majors, including the Masters Championship, PGA Championship, US Open, and The Open Championship, we can’t complain about the tournaments and venues available in the game.

Based on the trailer that details the gameplay, the simulation itself is not detailed either. Real data from ShotLink and TrackMan were used for the shots on the Frostbite engine – this is how the so-called Pure Strike was created. The highly customizable system distinguishes between more than 30 different stroke types, takes into account course and weather conditions, the type of club used, and provides unique animations for all golfers in the game.

The EA Sports PGA Tour kicks off March 24 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.
