The latest The Elder Scrolls VI leak has fans feeling good (for now)…
The Elder Scrolls VI is a very mysterious game at the moment. There's a lot to hear about the upcoming Elder Scrolls adventure, but it's hard to find precise details about gameplay, features, etc. Rumors about the size of Bethesda's game's open world have divided fans. Not to mention the countless other speculations that continue to spark heated debate among fans.
One of these events was when we heard that the creators might change the mechanics of the classic skill tree of TES games. Fortunately, the latest leak has reassured players rather than causing further anxiety.
An article shared on Reddit gave fans hope that The Elder Scrolls VI won't change its approach to RPGs just because of successful titles like Baldur's Gate 3.
Larian stuck to the traditional approach when it came to skill trees, causing some Elder Scrolls fans to panic at the possibility of such features being included in Bethesda's next game.
However, as far as Bethesda's Todd Howard is concerned, these complex details won't change how The Elder Scrolls VI handles abilities/perks. Fans believe that this is confirmation that the “franchise trees” known from Skyrim will return in the new RPG.
“Todd Howard has made it very clear that his personal gaming philosophy is about immersive simulations and not classic tabletop-like numbers and statistics.” Xilvereight explained – “Maybe franchise trees are a given.”
Even players who don't particularly like Bethesda's creative choices respect the brand for its commitment to their goals.
“That's what I really respect about them and that's why I always defend their design decisions […] “I love that they don't just do what's popular and go after their heads,” Boyo-Sh00k posted.
Someone else shared: “In the broader gaming community, people like to say that Baldur's Gate 3 puts Bethesda and Starfield to shame […] Both companies make very different types of RPGs.
Whether you agree with this latest teaser for Elder Scrolls VI or not, it's sure to reassure fans who were worried that the latest RPG would dramatically change what we know and love about the Elder Scrolls series.
