Shannen Doherty broke down and shared to her followers on her social media page that the disease she had been battling for years had now spread to her brain.
The 52-year-old star of Beverly Hills 90210 and the Enchanted Witches told her fans on Instagram the other day that her breast cancer cells had spread to her brain, so she was treated with radiation therapy.

The artist had a CT scan on the fifth of January, which revealed that cancerous cells had invaded her brain. Breast cancer is one of the cancers most likely to lead to brain metastases. Shaneen said she received her first radiation treatment on January 12 and is very scared, even though there is an amazing medical team behind her.

“I am very claustrophobic and a lot of things have happened to me in my life. I am lucky to have such great doctors who take care of me. But this fear, this confusion, this hopelessness…this is what cancer can look like.”
Shaneen learned in 2019 that she had stage 4 breast cancer, after she was first diagnosed with the disease in 2015.
