The end of the decades-old regional conflict was announced in Moscow

Basingan announced at the Eurasian Economic Council summit that Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed to mutual recognition of each other’s territorial integrity.

Aliyev stated that Armenia recognized Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan, so a peace agreement is possible.

The Armenian Prime Minister stressed the need to ensure the rights and safety of the residents of Nagorno-Karabakh within the framework of an international mechanism.

I hope that a normal and constructive dialogue will start soon between Baku and Stepanakert (the capital of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic).

At the same time, it was revealed at the meeting that no agreement had yet been reached on many issues, including the Lassen Corridor, which connects Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh and passes through Azerbaijani territory.

Russian President Vladimir Putin Based on what was said, the Russian president expressed his hope that agreements would be reached between the two parties, among other things related to opening transportation corridors. He confirmed that he would hold separate talks with Aliyev and Pashinyan during the day.
