A group of astronomers has released new images of the black hole at the center of the Milky Way Galaxy, which has been described as an astronomical landmark. Of particular interest, the research team used a special filter to observe the magnetic fields of the black hole known as Sagittarius A*, which allowed them to observe the gas and matter orbiting around the black hole, as well as the magnetic fields.
Scientists have made an exciting discovery that may explain the secrets of the universe
The black hole in a galaxy called UHZ1 is 10 times larger than the 14.6 million-mile-diameter black hole in our Milky Way.
The first pictures were taken in 2022 of the black hole, which has a mass of four million times the mass of our sun and is about 26 thousand light-years away from Earth due to its orange color.
Because of the swirling cloud of gas and dust, researchers have compared it to the Eye of Sauron, known from the Lord of the Rings films and books.
The research team also announced: Sagittarius A*, which is also located near the heart of the galaxy, is eerily similar to the one that is six million times more massive than the Sun and is also the center of the Milky Way.
