Astronomers have provided the first mysterious image of a supermassive black hole in the middle of the Milky Way. Scientists believe that nearly every galaxy, including the Milky Way, has a giant black hole in the middle from which neither light nor matter can escape. The researchers hope the recordings will help them learn more about how black holes work, M1 said.
We managed to take a picture of the black hole in the Milky Way
Astronomer Laszlo Kiss said that although the shot may seem blurry at first glance, it is actually very sharp. The light ring in the photos looks like a donut. There is a swirling cloud of gas around the core of the Milky Way, which means that the particles in it emit light.
“What we see in the pictures is a ring of light” Laszlo’s kiss explained. And as we get closer, he added, there’s a point where only the photons can travel inland. “There is a space before that where the gravitational-orbiting photons around the black hole create a sphere, a light sphere, or a photosphere.” he added. In the image, the photons are on an edge that can rip in our direction, and we can see exactly which photons are heading towards us.
