Following the renders of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, images of the Galaxy S25 have now surfaced. Based on the information so far, in the case of the Galaxy S25, Samsung will be able to use a blessed design with rounded corners, while the Galaxy S24 may remain largely unchanged from this point of view.
Samsung could devote itself to a relatively major transformation of the top model, as the Galaxy S25 Ultra has been produced with a truly brick-like design for several years. Thanks to slightly rounded corners, it will be more similar to the other members of the series, as the manufacturer could keep the current design broadly. The first images showing the Galaxy S25 model show an almost completely unchanged device.
Some changes can already be spotted around the camera module on the back, but these current renders may not show the cameras in full resolution yet. You can see that the ring surrounding the cameras is a bit larger, they are almost touching. The back of the Galaxy S24 was still covered with a glass panel with rounded edges (2.5D), but now the South Korean company can say goodbye to that as well, as a completely flat glass can cover the back of the mobile, fitting perfectly into the frame.
However, the biggest change can be seen on the Galaxy S25 side, but not in terms of design, but in terms of grace. Samsung will be able to make the Galaxy S25 thinner than ever before, as the 7.6mm thick smartphone could shrink to 7.2mm. This means a noticeable difference, but the big question is how happy users will be. However, in recent times, the trend of thinning has not necessarily prevailed, and fortunately, it has been the norm for manufacturers to try to do something to achieve better operating time.
The 7.2mm thick body can be linked to a surface of 146.9 x 70.4mm, which is almost identical to the Galaxy S24's 147 x 70.6mm surface. At most, we can talk about a thinner coffee here, based on the available CAD information.
According to previous rumors, Samsung could still pack a 4,000mAh battery into the ultra-slim Galaxy S25. So, the downsizing may not have a negative impact on runtime, but regardless, most people would probably prefer to see a slightly more powerful unit appear in the specs with an unchanged size.
The Galaxy S25 is said to be available with 12GB of system memory as well as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 or Exynos 2500 system chipset. There have already been several different rumors about the tiles that the irons might come with. As for the cameras, it is possible to hear that there will be no major changes with the Galaxy S25, in terms of the number of megapixels, everything may remain the same with the generation change.
