Unfortunately, our jerseys did not reach the water for the gold medal, because the meeting against the Greeks on Friday was not what we all hoped. Moreover, we can safely add: as everyone believes in knowing the balance of power. That meeting was missed, so the boys jumped into the water this morning for their bronze. After the defeat to the Greeks, a lot of talk took place among the team members, and with this, everyone overcame the disappointment of the semi-finals. The boys played accordingly and beat the Spaniards 9-5 with an impressive performance in the second half. The score was 5-5 during the break, which means that the team did not score in the second half.
Victor Nagy was brilliantly defended, but those in front of him did their job well. Although we had to fend for ourselves against human damage almost along the way, due to so many exhibitions, we almost ran out of team by the end of the meeting. But this is modern water polo, with a little exaggeration, it is a pity to learn to play six against six, because it is usually only a few seconds from the midfield after a goal or after a side shot.
It was nice to watch the guys celebrate after the victory! Seeing the happy players in us, the fans repeatedly asked the question: how can this team get out of Greece?
Victor Nagy, who is reviewing the goal, ended his career with this match, these last 16 minutes will be an eternal memory for him. With the success behind him, he greatly appreciated this medal when he said: “There is a big difference between a bronze medal and fourth place.”
After the meeting, Tamas Marks, Olympic champion as a player and now federal captain, said: “We made it with the Spaniards and now I can admit it many times, we really got out of them in those four or five days.

Just as the two men’s Hungarian-Greek shirt matches come to mind after the medals are handed out, we can also remember the French’s first encounter. They played with “Our Girls” and won with only one goal with great difficulty. If Gábor Elek’s team really matches that match, the French will start with a defeat.
Then he snatched it from the Spaniards and played a draw with Sweden by running all the way after the score.
