The Hungarian women’s polo team reached the twentieth in the quarter-finals of the World Cup against the Greeks

Attila Peru put on an excellent attacking game and defeated Greece 20-13 in the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

The Hungarian national team picked up where they left off in the warm-up matches against the Italians and Canadians, and Attila Biro’s students performed admirably, outdoing their rivals in every aspect of the game – they scored six of their first seven goals of the match – and the game was practically decided by the end of the first half.

Continuing, the Greeks played a less subordinate role, but did not even have a chance to catch up. The Hungarian national team has many notable achievements, the most successful of which was captain Rita Kešteli with six goals.

Olympic bronze medalist Attila Biro will almost certainly meet the US team to “warm up” against the Israelis on Saturday. The first two places mean automatic qualification for the 2024 World Championships in Doha.
