The berry-like design has been replaced by the stem hanging from the ear in this year's series.

There was an image earlier suggesting that this year Samsung will ditch the raspberry-like design used in its headphones for years and join the crowd of stem-shaped earbuds that most mainstreams use. This can provide better playback time with greater movement and better conversational audio quality, because the microphones placed at the end of the stem are closer to the wearer's mouth. Meanwhile, the previously unique-looking Galaxy Buds have also lost their individuality, according to images from Korea.

Based on the images, the top of the Galaxy Buds 3 carrying case will be transparent, and several sensors and microphones can be seen on the head of the earbuds. However, their appearance looks more like the Huawei FreeBuds Pro or Apple AirPods Pro than anything Samsung has offered on the TWS front.

Samsung's own app also confirmed this in addition to images, and according to the app, the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro are also expected at the Unpacked event in July, with the same design.
