The Intel Battlemage – PCW family can be expanded with more powerful video cards

If all goes well, blue GPUs could be on store shelves even before the end of the year.

There are still a lot of unanswered questions regarding Intel's second-generation Arc video cards, which the manufacturer calls Battlemage. Previously, it seemed to have no intention of competing in the high-end segment, and is still the cost-effective option for gamers using 1080p displays, but according to a leaked datasheet, the company may have more serious plans.

X (formerly Twitter) saw the light of day with the next delivery note, which includes two Battlemage desktop cards (Xe2-HPG), codenamed BMG-G10 and BMG-G21.

We've already heard about the G10 in 2023, and this series will supposedly cover segments intended for “enthusiast” level users, i.e. users who want more serious performance. However, this line has remained completely obscured so far this year, so many thought that Intel may have stopped developing the cards.

However, the delivery note reveals that the company is still actively working on the project. Of course, this doesn't mean that the RTX 5090 has anything to fear, as jumpers can still be found in the upper midrange category at most. At the same time, we hope to add these models to the list of video cards released this year.
