The iQOO brand, which operates under the Vivo banner, has launched two new tablets in China, namely the Pad 2 and Pad 2 Pro. Both devices will compete with larger models, as they are powered by Snapdragon and Dimensity chipsets, and the prices are very reasonable.
In terms of design, the two devices aren't really that different, the only difference being that the Pro model has a larger 13-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 3096 x 2064 pixels, a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 144Hz refresh rate. The Pad 2 has a 12.1-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2800 x 1968 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, while the aspect ratio is 7:5. The Pad 2 Pro features eight speakers and surround sound, while the base model has six.
Inside the iQOO Pad 2 Pro is a MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, while the Pad 2 is capped by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The Pad 2 Pro can be ordered with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, while the roof of the Pad 2 is 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
The Pad 2 has a 5-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel rear camera, while the Pad 2 Pro has an 8-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel primary camera. Under the cover of the Pad 2 Pro there is an 11,500 mAh battery, which can be powered by 66W charging, while the basic model gets the power needed to operate from a 10,000 mAh battery, and the fastest supported charging. Speed 44 watts. The tablets run Android 14 operating system, complemented by OriginOS 4.
The tablets will be sold in silver, blue and grey, the Pad 2 in 8/128GB configuration can be purchased for 126,000 HUF in local currency, and the Pad 2 Pro costs 171,000 HUF. For this amount, we get a base configuration with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. International sales have not yet been discussed.
