IDF Commander-in-Chief Herzi Halevy announced on Wednesday that he had been mistakenly identified, which is why the IDF carried out a drone attack on a World Central Kitchen aid convoy on Monday. According to Halevy, the attack, in which seven aid workers were killed, should not have happened, and the team also stressed that an independent investigation would be opened into the case, for which Benjamin Netanyahu apologized on Tuesday night.

Of course, it will be difficult for them to get away with it, in addition to Joe Biden, who says that Israel is not doing enough to protect aid workers, Rishi Sunak from Britain, Anthony Albanese from Australia, and Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk. She also called for an immediate investigation into the matter, as did Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie.

WCK founder, José Andres In an article published by the New York Times on Wednesday He said that all seven aid workers who were killed were among the finest human beings and welcomed the Israeli government's announcement of an independent investigation.

Alongside them, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg condemned the attack, and Pope Francis expressed his condolences for the deaths of charity workers killed in the Israeli airstrike.

The victims included three Britons, a Polish and an Australian, so the violent reaction of the heads of government of the three countries is not surprising. Of the three, Tusk made the most serious criticism, writing that the attack and the Israeli reaction to it would test Polish solidarity and the relationship between the two countries.

Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong said the same thing. According to her, if Israel continues to ignore international humanitarian law, which includes the protection of aid workers, it will increasingly lose the support of the international community.
