However, in 2022, the dragons are back, and the HBO prequel, House of Dragons, has been picked up the most.
However, in 2023, there was no dragon-themed series, so this year's winner was HBO's post-apocalyptic drama The Last of Us. There was a lot of resistance behind him, and in the end the Mandalorian took second place, and Loki came in third.

Netflix releases are conspicuously absent from the list, perhaps because it is the dominant streaming platform in most parts of the world and its users are unlikely to cancel their subscriptions.
