According to initial plans, the final episode of the legendary series arrived on Nintendo Switch the other day, a The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom’s Tears. It is a direct continuation of the previous part of the Breath of the Wild series, published in 2017.
Events pick up not long after. After Link’s victory, the people of Hyrule were able to restore the Empire to its former glory. But Link and Zelda could not rest for long, because they found ancient ruins under the castle and accidentally revived a mummy. Link is treated badly, Zelda goes missing, and we find ourselves in the midst of another adventure.
In the game, you can use a series of new abilities for Link, such as Fuse, which allows you to combine objects to create unique weapons, or Ultrahand, which allows you to put together any cool vehicle to make it easier to explore the countryside. Recall reflects the movement of objects, while Ascend allows Link to leave through the ceiling.
A new Link amiibo was released at the same time as the game. By touching this amiibo figure, players can obtain weapons and items, as well as a special cloth for Link’s paraglider. If you use another amiibo figure from The Legend of Zelda series, depending on the scanned amiibo you can get useful items, weapons or parachute cloth.
