Looks like we don’t have to wait long for Mass Effect: Legendary Edition to be available on Xbox Game Pass this spring. A Polish newspaper, XGP, notes that a bundle of three upgraded games has been awarded the Game Pass mark on the Xbox Store for a short time.
Since Electronic Arts’ Mass Arts subscription service, EA Play, is also available as part of Game Pass, this isn’t a particularly unexpected development. EA games are usually available to EA Play subscribers a year after their release, but seeing the development of the Xbox Store, we might not have to wait that long to get the trilogy. The EA Play offer is available through the more expensive version of Game Pass, Ultimate, which costs 4,190 HUF per month (the base Game Pass is HUF 3,000).
BioWare’s popular role-playing trilogy was re-released this spring, and the first part was the best in this release. According to our testers, the Legendary version performed well, so if someone missed that classic that year, this is a great opportunity to make a replacement. Although the publisher did not disclose how much of the replay was sold, his claim sold better than expected. BioWare is already working on the next part of the franchise, with a gossip poster released in the first half of the month.
