The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria Coming to Xbox and Steam

The Dwarf Survival Crafting game was originally only available on the Epic Games Store, and later only on Sony consoles. In addition to the new content, the game also has full cross-play support.

Returning to Moria last year was a real treat for Lord of the Rings fans. Not only because of its crafting, building and exploration gameplay, thanks to which we were able to visit the dungeons of Moria known from the films, but also because it also gives us an insight into the world of the fourth century.

However, if you look at it, the game’s start wasn’t as unified as many would have liked. Only last October’s release was for the PC version, and even then, Retun to Moria was only available on the Epic Store. In December, the PlayStation 5 version also launched, and based on a recent trailer, two other platforms are also taking part in the revival of Khazad-dûm.

That’s right, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will be available on Steam and Xbox Series X/S later this month on August 27, and that’s not all, as there’s a ton of new content and features coming to the game. One of the most important ones is full cross-platform support, so if our friends want to dig up and kill goblins on a different device than us, no problem. Additionally, version 1.0 of the Sandbox mode is also coming, as well as a ton of other content that the creators haven’t detailed yet.
