Brian Jack’s best-selling book series, Redwall – Rőtfal in Hungarian – is primarily a children’s fairy tale, but like all good children’s fairy tales, there are also plenty of serious themes to be found in these books. Although the Rőtfal series, saturated with fantasy elements, has not gained much popularity in our small town, it has conquered almost all other landscapes in the world, so it is not surprising that it has also been adapted for video games. The first game was released in 2018 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, while the remaining two arrived on PC in 2021. Now we will have the opportunity to experience the entire experience on current generation consoles.
At first glance, it doesn’t look like a well-polished work, but as we know, we don’t judge a book by its cover… we’re curious to see what comes out of the reworking.
