Recently, Ezer Év Park in Mórahalm officially became a dog-friendly establishment. The classification system developed by kutyabarathelyek.hu – which complies with the relevant legislation issued by ÁNTSZ and NÉBIH – provides a clear and uniform picture of what a “dog-friendly place” means. Accordingly, the park has met the requirements and can use the dog-friendly certification label until March 1, 2027.
Molly's four-and-a-half-year-old pit bull terrier owners, Ilde and Peter, quickly took advantage of the excellent opportunity and took a pleasant walk in the wonderful weather on Tuesday afternoon. They try to go to as many places as possible with their dogs, so they were happy about this opportunity in Mórahalm.
As Molly and her owners discovered the park, István Fodor, professional director, curator and museum educator at the Thousand Year Park in Mörrälm, explained why they became a dog-friendly place, answering briefly because culture belongs to everyone, including dogs. .
– We want to expand the role associated with the museum, where we go there, look around and leave. This is not good. Our goal is for all of this to be an experiential family program. In the case of many, the fact that the dog is treated like a member of the family also contributes to this experience. Then bring it! Who is hurting? To no one. And if it makes the family feel better, they come in with a better taste in their mouths and leave with a better taste in their mouths, and that's good for us too. – Tell.
