The Motorola Edge 40 Neo has been introduced, which will also be available in Hungary and comes with 2 years of Android and 3 years of security updates.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7030 with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM or 256GB of RAM and the graphics are handled by the Mali-G610 MC3 GPU.
The display is a 6.55-inch 144Hz pOLED panel with HDR10+ support, a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a maximum brightness of 1300 nits with 1 billion colors. The casing is thin, 7.76mm thick, the edges are rounded, and it is IP68 certified. The manufacturer is collaborating with Pantone to make the phone available in three special colors.
The main camera is 50 MP with f/1.8 aperture, 1/2.5-inch sensor, optical stabilization, with omni-directional PDAF. 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, f/2.2 aperture, 120-degree viewing angle, and PDFA autofocus. You can record 4K video at a maximum of 30fps, and 240fps is also supported at 1080p.
The selfie camera has a 32-megapixel f/2.4 aperture and HDR support, but you can only record 1080p videos at 30fps.
The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh, it can be charged at 68W, the required charging head is in the box. The system is Android 13 by default, with 2 years of Android and 3 years of security updates promised. It supports Wi-Fi 6E technology, and there is a fingerprint reader under the screen.
Motorola also emphasized sustainability: the 100% plastic-free packaging made from 60% recycled materials is printed using soy ink. Each device comes with a protective case made exclusively from plant-based materials, which color matches the device with Pantone precision. The manufacturer of the protective case guarantees that it recycles all replacement cases.
The Moto Edge 40 Neo will be available at HUF 154,990 in three colours: black, blue and green.
