The story of last November may be repeated again in Palmazojváros: as we mentioned then, employees were supposed to receive their tenth monthly salary on November 3, but the payment was not made then, nor after that, until Hajdú-Béhar, based on the mandate of the Manor County Mayor, did not issue the final accounting decree for the 2022 budget of the Municipality of Palmazojváros.

The payment of salaries to municipal employees and institutions was settled at that time, but the situation did not change for this year either. The final accounting decree for 2023 and the budget decree for this year were not adopted by the city’s representative body by the deadline. This situation did not change when the mayor, the day after the elections – in which he lost to Varga Marina – called two meetings of the representative body, where he ultimately single-handedly adopted the above-mentioned decrees, as well as additional legislation and decisions.
