A16 chip, but with a weak performance
The iPad (2025) received a modified A16 chip, first appeared at the iPhone 14 Pro in 2022. However, in the iPad version, the CPU and GPU processor was disabled, making it a little weaker than the original A16.
Since Apple has not announced the amount of random access memory and the new iPad does not support Apple intelligence features, it is likely that it has less than 8 GB of memory. However, progress has been made in terms of storage, and the primary model now starts from 128 GB of storage, which replaces the release of 64 GB of the previous generation.
One innovation: Bluetooth 5.3
Changing the only devices is that it has already received Bluetooth 5.3 instead of the previous generation Bluetooth 5.2, which provides a more stable and effective wireless connection.
