Skoda has shown a very suggestive clip showing a vague image of an all-new electric car: the new Elroq could be the car that will be unveiled soon.
Skoda has just presented the new generation Kodiaq and Superb, as well as the Kamiq, Scala, Octavia and the renewed Enyaq, and now the next novelty of the Czech brand has appeared. It was only announced that a new electric car will be unveiled this week, but it's not hard to infer that it will be a variant called the Elroq.
A few months ago we traveled to Mladá Boleslav to see the future of Skoda, and there we saw a series of sculptures,
Which anticipated the introduction of models in the following years. The first to check out is Elroq. It is no coincidence that its name is familiar, as it is the sister car to the Karoq, an electric-powered compact car.
But they are not just installing an electric motor in the Karoq, they are developing a new electric car from the ground up at Skoda,
Elroq could therefore be the younger, more modern brother of Enyaq. The nose has just been flashed, but based on that, it can be guessed that it is already wearing the new Skoda model, which was expected with the Vision 7S concept car.
In the future Skoda, the radiator grille will be only symbolic, but at the same time, the bright lights will still stand out, making its appearance distinctive. From now on, the classic winged logo of the brand is no longer present not only on the back, but also on the front, and is replaced by the ŠKODA inscription written in a new font. Everything else will be revealed in a few days, at the premiere on March 15.
