Epic Games is already preparing for launch.
There is no doubt that the creative mode introduced in the second half of Chapter One played a huge role in increasing the popularity of Fortnite. Players can not only use it for training but can also create their own mini-games and tournaments with the help of items provided by Epic. Creative is evolving from update to update, but Epic Games is gearing up for something much bigger in the background.
In 2022, the term Creative 2.0 appeared several times, but Epic prefers to call the new product Unreal Editor. It’s possible that the Fortnite developers had planned to release it this summer, but given the series of gaffes, the end of 2022 appears to be the most likely date. In recent days, after a hiatus of more than a year, the internal servers have come alive again, indicating that we can have Unreal Editor in a few weeks.
Having not been updated since August 2021. Unreal Editor for Fortnite has now been updated to include launch arguments!

Why would this be useful to us?
Creative mode does indeed give players a lot of freedom, but Creative 2.0 will take previous attempts to a whole new level. Let’s look at the possibilities:
- The spread of artificial intelligence
- Add your own models, your own textures
- Create your own HUD screen
- Add your own weapons and properties
- Live player and team stats
- The rules of the game are freely customizable for the “Normal” field as well: Special loot collection, Storm and other goodies
- With the help of the programming language called “Verse”, you have complete “control” of the game
Obviously, while Creative has tried to keep the editing options within the game, Creative 2.0 will give users a completely free hand. Data miners are currently anticipating its release for Fortnite v22.40, which could be mid-November. Earlier, the end of December was also mentioned, we should not completely rule it out until an official announcement arrives.
Are they stupid?! Sony has disabled Xbox Game Pass from PlayStation
