Of the Q3 and Q3 Sportback models, 24,579 hybrids and 5,393 mild hybrids will be produced in 2023.
Audi Hungaria remains the world's largest engine manufacturer: in 2023, a total of 1,660,425 engines were produced in Gyor (-1% per year), of which 114,058 were electric motors (+5% per year). The company produced 158,802 three-cylinder engines, 806,685 four-cylinder gasoline engines, and 198,802 diesel engines. 19,734 five-cylinder gasoline engines were produced, 277,081 gasoline engines, 78,905 six-cylinder diesel engines, and 6,216 10-cylinder gasoline engines were produced.
Audi Hungary ended 2023 with 11,663 employees, while at the end of the year 480 employees were working in its 100 percent owned subsidiary, AUDI HUNGARIA AHEAD Kft., which was founded last year, so the two companies employed a total of 12,143 employees in 2023.
The company has big plans for 2024. In addition to the production of Audi models, preparations are already underway for series production of the Cupra Terramar starting this year, and preparations have also begun at the company for the production of the new generation of electric motors, MEBeco, they wrote in the announcement.
