The OnePlus Open Android 14 update has started

OnePlus has been particularly quick to release the stable Android 14 update for the OnePlus 11, but it can't be said that it has rushed the new flagship release of its first bendable smartphone. If you're one of the few OnePlus Open owners online, we have good news: the distribution of the OxygenOS 14 update based on Android 14 has finally begun.

Currently, unfortunately, only those who live in India can enjoy it. For some reason, OnePlus has decided that Indian users will get the new system first, but the global rollout will likely begin soon. Even Indians have a bitter pill to swallow, as the stable update will first reach those who participated in OnePlus' closed and open beta programs.

Once they have the new system, they will gradually distribute it to other users. New construction is a CPH2551_14.0.0.400(EX01) Numbered. In the official changelog, OnePlus lists the new features of the bendable mobile platform update.

  • After the update, Aqua Dynamics is added to the system, allowing you to view current information at a glance
  • A File Dock is added to the system, where you can drag and drop content to move it between applications or even between devices
  • The update enables the content extraction function, with which we can select and copy text or image elements from the screen with one touch
  • Smart cropping is now available to separate multiple subjects in an image from its background for copying or sharing
  • The rack has been improved, and is now available with more tool recommendations
  • Improved photo and video permissions management for safer app access
  • System stability, application launch speed and smooth animations have been improved
  • The Aquamorphic design has been updated with a more natural and brighter color style
  • The update adds new Aquamorphic-themed ringtones to the system and revamps system notification sounds
  • Improved system animation, which is now smoother
  • We've got a new Always On Display widget that tracks CO2 emissions
