Hajdúszoboszló – The spa environment at Hajdúszoboszló is being completely renovated. The Mátyás király promenade and part of Szent István Park will also be updated. They are currently working on developing the expertise centers, and the contractor is expected to complete the work in the fall. The investment will be financed from the joint resources of the European Union and the state, amounting to two billion Hungarian forints.
Among the new additions to the Corniche is a commercial unit with a water block, in addition to covered storage for bicycles and a smart seat. Among other things, it is also suitable for charging electric bicycles and phones. They have been working to establish ten experience centers in the region since last fall, and work is still continuing. The goal is to create an attractive street for pedestrians.
– The vibrant Mediterranean atmosphere prevails here in the evening. Music, dance, entertainment, food, gastronomy and a million programs. Its environment, how and in what environment it can be used, is clearly an important aesthetic factor, said Gyula Czejledi, the city’s mayor.
Nearly 400,000 guest nights were recorded in Hajdúszoboszlon in the first half of the year, which is close to the partial result of the record year of 2019. The region’s parliamentarian noted that the region’s tourist destinations could enhance each other.
– We at Hajduszoboszlo really believe that Debrecen, Hortobagy and Lake Tisza, this is still the distance that guests who rest here, vacation here or rest in the other three places can travel – explained Member of Parliament Sandor Bodó.
According to the Deputy Director General of the Hungarian Tourism Agency, the investment helps ensure the region’s supplies for 4 seasons. He added: The neighborhood is developing, and many people from abroad also come here, especially Romanian, Polish and German guests.
– Facilities have been created according to European standards, which lays the foundation for bringing these high-spending guests to this region and the entire country, who will contribute to the record-breaking 2019 – said Yvette Budi, CEO of the Hungarian Tourism Agency. His deputy.
In cooperation with several organizations, Hajduszoboszlo has applied in a consortium to support the development. The investment is expected to be fully completed in the fall, from the combined resources of the EU and the state, amounting to 2 billion Hungarian forints.
