If you want to remember your childhood spent with Colin McRae Rally, Old School Rally is just for you!

17.05.2024 – One person makes a rally game for many, something that will capture the attention of those who, like me (among others), grew up on Colin McRae Rally on PS1. Although there were many other rally games at the time – and the one named after the legendary car racer was probably the best of all – and later, it's easy to just be biased.
Anyway, Colin McRae Rally has long been a benchmark, not just in the rally genre, but also in the racing game genre on the block. A lot of people, even those who didn't know Colin McRae from the news, really grew up with it: mostly on the first and second parts, which were very ahead of their time in terms of gaming experience and technology. Especially Colin 2! However, the series bearing that name ended with a portable title in 2013, replaced by arcade racing Dirt.
It's no wonder, then, that so many people are mourning the good old days, which are now literally coming to an end: soon old school pool, Which specifically recalls the days of Colin McRae Rally 1. The game is designed strictly in 32-bit style, with all its old features: pixel graphics, slightly blurry PS1 sliding textures, sprites here, sprites there, wheel tracks on the ashen track, and obviously… Legendary automobile miracles do so much to make time travel work, we are immediately transported back to our childhood.
There's no specific release beyond 2024, but there is a preview, but we can certainly limit Steam Early Access terms for a few months – which is understandable, since it's being developed by one person. It's worth adding to your wish list. Even if you just want to know what experience us dinosaurs had in the late '90s.
