The Redmi A3 Pro adds to the range of cheap smartphones with a very large display. The mobile phone appeared practically out of nowhere in a Kenyan online store display.
Instead of official images, the distributor is promoting the device through self-made product images, but apart from this oddity, the smartphone and its specifications look quite original. The Redmi A3 Pro has a 6.88-inch IPS display, which is quite large even according to today's trends.
The base model offers HD+ image quality, and presumably in the case of the Pro, you won't have to settle for anything less. The panel supports a 90Hz refresh rate, and a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset serves as its cover, which is a clear improvement over the Helio G36 chip that serves in the regular A3 chip.
The new chipset is complemented by 4GB of operating memory and 128GB of internal storage space. On the back of the Redmi A3 Pro is a 50MP primary camera, which is powered by all kinds of AI algorithms to take better photos. There is also another module, but its contents are not detailed in the Kenya Data Sheet.
The smartphone has a battery with a capacity of 5160 mAh. The device also includes a fingerprint reader on the side bezel. There is no further information available about the device, but it will compete among very affordable mobile phones, as it will cost just 40,000 Hungarian forints in local currency. Obviously, in the case of European sale, the manufacturer's Pencil could be thicker, but within its category, even with this, the Redmi A3 Pro promises to be a fair offer.
