The funny detective duo Sam and Max were first introduced to the world at the end of the 1980s in Steve Purcell’s comics. The dog and rabbit then also targeted video gamers in 1993’s excellent LucasArts game, Sam and Max: Hit the roadin. There was a lot of silence on the gaming front, until Telltale Games, a little-known company at the time, thought it was time to bring up the topic again, and in the mid-2000s, Sam and Max: Save the worldIn six episodes we were able to investigate the couple. Thanks to its success, two more seasons followed, then the series was discontinued in 2010, and Telltale turned into The Walking Dead series (as well as Batman, The Wolf Among Us, and others).
The new hiatus was broken by Skunkape Games, founded by developers who left Telltale, which has since ceased to exist (but has since reorganized), and in 2020 released Sam and Max: Save the worldFive, then came a year later Beyond time and space also. Then we also waited for the third season, which according to previous news was coming out recently, but the developers still need more time, and we won’t get the remaster until next spring. In this story, Max finds a mysterious toy that gives him supernatural powers, such as the ability to teleport and see the future. Thus, the duo tries to save the Earth.
