The Russian forces may have suffered heavy losses

Russian troops suffered heavy losses in the Kherson region of southern Ukraine, as about 150 wounded soldiers were transported across the Dnieper (Dnieper) River, the Ukrainian General Staff reported in its report on the situation on the battlefield Wednesday evening.

According to the report of the Hromadzky news website, more than fifty graves with civilian bodies were found in the city of Lyman, Donetsk region, which was recently liberated from Russian occupation. Not everyone who was buried has been identified, many graves bear a number instead of the name of the deceased. The news portal added that the bodies of many dead Russian soldiers were left unburied in the city. The portal also published pictures of corpses lying in the streets and graves.

Meanwhile, Czech Defense Minister Jana Sernochova announced that she had approved further military assistance to Ukraine, Yevropejská Pravda news portal reported with reference to the Czech news portal Novinky. According to the minister’s information, heavy weapons are also included in the new aid package, but the Czech Republic did not provide details for security reasons. He noted that exports of military equipment to Ukraine in 2022 exceeded 1.9 billion euros, and Prague’s support for Kiev amounted to 4.2 billion euros.

Yevrobijska Pravda noted that in September a public initiative was launched in the Czech Republic to raise funds for the purchase of a modernized T-72 tank for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which will soon be delivered to Ukraine.
