The Russian Foreign Ministry said how long do you think the sanctions pressure will last?

Dmitry Berezhevsky justified his position by saying that

The first sanctions were imposed long before the outbreak of armed conflict; and since their ultimate goal is to create unfair competition, they are only using the conflict as a pretext.”

He added that as a result of the sanctions, Russia had to significantly reorganize its economy. Today it can produce products that previously had to be imported from the West.

Meanwhile, the public was warned that Western 'sanctions spiral' could cause new difficulties for country in future Because the West is also planning to impose sanctions on additional regions that have not yet been affected. According to him, they are trying to achieve this by blackmailing Russia's trading partners: they will also close Western markets to them if they maintain cooperation with Russia.

He added that Russia is therefore striving to negotiate with other countries that are also subject to sanctions, such as Iran, North Korea or Venezuela, with the aim of Counterbalancing discriminatory Western economic policy by creating an international anti-sanctions coalition.
