Yesterday, the Russian army launched an offensive in the Staromagorsky-Velika Novoselka sector: located in the western part of Donetsk Oblast. The region was one of the main targets of the Ukrainian attack last year. Ukrainian forces were able to liberate 4-5 villages in the region.
Russian soldiers now surround Staromayorsk and Orozyn: According to Russian reports, they also stormed the territory of the latter village. The goal may be to push the Ukrainians back at least as far as Velika Novoselka, undoing the greatest achievements of last year's counteroffensive.
Another “huge” success for last year's attack Two robots Occupation, this settlement was almost completely, or indeed completely, retaken by the Russian army.
Scattered fighting is still being reported from the two-bot sector, but most maps already include the small village in Zaporizhia Province in the name of the Russians.
After a break of several months, America began to replenish Ukrainian weapons stocks again, and these shipments have not yet been able to make a significant difference in events on the front line. The situation may change somewhat in the coming weeks, but it is by no means guaranteed: the best Ukrainian lineups are tired, frustrated and in desperate need of rotation.
