Ukrainian airports, including Odessa Airport, have been the target of Russian drones and missiles several times in the past. During these attacks, the privately owned aerobatic was also destroyed in one of the attacks – at least that can be deduced from footage of the burning wreckage.

They can be found among burning machines A Ukrainian-made A-22 Foxbat, a German Extra EA-300 two-seat aerobatic aircraft, and a Russian Sukhoi Su-31 single-seat aerobatic aircraft. The latter is a particularly popular type of aircraft used by many world aerobatic champions over the decades.
