Astrophoto Exhibition and Conference Veszprém-Balaton 2023 as part of the European Capital of Culture series of programmes.
The event on the occasion of Hungarian Photography Day will take place on August 26 at the Agóra Veszprém Cultural Center between 10 am and 4 pm. The theme of the conference will be history, nature, landscapes and astrophotos, while the theme of the exhibition will be the architectural and astronomical presentation of the city of Veszprém.
In the planned program, Tamas Ladany will give a lecture entitled “The Sky over Veszprém”, Laszlo Novak “My passion is photographing birds or in the wake of blue eagles”, Lorand Fennis “Deep sky photography from the shores of Lake Balaton to Africa” and Károly Mátyus “Photohistorical aspects of Veszprém ”, while those interested can try out the latest cameras and lenses in the workshops. The project aims to connect professional and technical photographers with schools, those interested in photography, and the general public.
