Facebook’s new social media platform, Threads, was officially launched in Hungary at noon on Thursday, according to A high value.

According to Hvg’s experience, you can actually register on the web interface by importing your Instagram data. You can also browse the site without a user profile, as a simple visitor. By the way, Telex already has a topic page, which By clicking here Also available.

However, the Threads mobile app version is not yet available in everyone’s app stores, so some iOS and Android mobile phone owners have to wait for the download.

The threads are basically anti-Twitter which started after Elon Musk took control of Twitter (now X). Threads, used for microblogging, was a huge success in its first few weeks: based on Instagram’s existing network of connections, it reached 100 million registered users in less than a week.

But soon after, the platform virtually collapsed, and after the initial enthusiasm, many users left Threads. Part of the reason for this is that the site’s functionality was quite rigid compared to Twitter – moreover, its algorithm suppressed the same topics that generated news and discussions, and for this reason, people did not feel that it was a good alternative to Twitter.
