Eddie Murphy returns after thirty years as foul-mouthed, food-loving Detroit police officer Axel Foley. the Beverly Hills cop Part 4 has been completed thanks to Netflix and is expected to be available on the streaming service in the summer of 2024. The first trailer has now arrived.

The critical and audience reception was so favorable that sequels were produced in 1987 and 1994 (directed first by Tony Scott and then directed by John Landis). Thirty years ago, it seemed like the creators had completed a trilogy, but now there’s a sequel coming, produced and distributed by Netflix.
Based on the information available so far, the fourth part repeats the story of the first: an old friend of the Detroit detective, played by Murphy, dies under strange and suspicious circumstances, and leads lead to the dream city of Beverly Hills, where the local forces are located. Don’t take kindly to the investigation of the uninvited guest… Fortunately, Bobby (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), an ex-boyfriend of Foley’s daughter Jane Foley (Taylor Paige), who works as a detective attorney, comes to her aid.
The film is directed by Mark Molloy and written by Will Bell, Tom Gormican, and Kevin Itten. In addition to Murphy, Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser, and Bronson Pinchot will also return. Kevin Bacon will also be seen in the sequel.
The film will arrive on Netflix in the summer of 2024.
