At the beginning of November, the first preview of the next part of the series was released, much of which was not revealed and the accompanying story description was not very accurate, with one of the main characters in the film telling Empire magazine about what the film will be about.

Planet of the Apes: Empire will not take place a few years after the previous part, but rather 300 years later, leading to The hero of the film will not be Caesar’s son, Cornelius, but one of his descendantsNoa is a young woman who doesn’t even know Cesar. Owen Teague, the actor who plays Noah, talked about all this in his latest interview with Empire magazine In his interview.

The actor revealed that there will be characters who still remember Caesar and his teachings, but it is not certain that they will use this knowledge correctly, such as Caesar Proximus, who can be seen in the trailer with a crown on his head. With this new story begins a new trilogy, of course only if the film is successful and the studio allows it to continue. According to director Wes Ball, Planet of the Apes: Empire was developed from the first minute as the first part of a trilogy, which will be released on May 23, 2024.
