Two informed US officials said that the US military intends to move its warships and military aircraft stationed in the Mediterranean to a location closer to Israel.
The transfer is an expression of the country’s support, as well as providing assistance to US citizens in evacuating. According to Sky News, the request could reach the fleet at any moment.

– wrote Mark Stone, an American correspondent, who also added that the US Navy’s decision confirms assumptions that the White House assesses the events as a serious crisis.
It is not yet known what ships the US Navy will send to the coast, but the 12th aircraft carrier group is currently in the Mediterranean.
