The victim of the cheating Olympic player said: “I was hoping to see him in prison clothes, but unfortunately they did not let him in.”

In Saturday’s edition of our newspaper, it was reported that the 58-year-old former Olympic gymnast is serving his prison term in Palhalmaa National Prison. As we learned from the Budapest Prosecutor’s Office II. And the third. The District Prosecutor’s Office charged him with continuous fraud, and the court found him guilty and thus sentenced him to one year in prison. In the ruling, the Authority also ordered the implementation of a one-year suspended prison sentence that had previously been issued against the accused in another case, also in the fraud case. In Hungary, he will have to sit for two years.

In addition, the current criminal case against Almasi is still pending in the Investigation Department, opened by Budapest VIII. The district attorney’s office is investigating. Based on the previous procedures, the procedure is also carried out in this case due to suspicion of fraud. Blake was the first to write in June that the woman had defrauded several people out of loans in recent years, causing a total damage of between 30 and 35 million Hungarian forints to the victims. It happened that he applied for a loan due to cancer treatment, and other times to obtain expensive medicines. Many people felt sorry for him and gave him and helped him – and now they know it was wrong.

The victims recently created a separate Facebook group where everyone can share their grievances. One of the accused, Tamas Kovacs, told our newspaper that they also investigated the Olympian and discovered that he was supposed to go to prison on July 20, but he did not want to go. Finally, the next day, his relative from Budapest took him by car to the prison in Palhalma.

“Since he did not log in on time, I understand that this means that he cannot be released early even if he behaves well,” Kovacs, from whom Almasy defrauded a total of 2.8 million Hungarian forints over the years, told our newspaper. “We also found out that he claimed to have epilepsy, and as far as we know, he can’t do anything there, he can’t even smoke, even though he is a big packer.” It can be easy, and the boredom will eat away at you, but I don’t regret it. Fate will strike everyone sooner or later, so I even help with that if I can. Honestly, I wanted to visit him, I wanted to see him in prison clothes, but unfortunately they wouldn’t let me in because I’m not a family member. Of course, I’m not going to have sleepless nights because of this, in fact, I’m glad it’s where it is.

The victims of this case have already given up their money, but they would be happy to get a few more years.

Our report and newspaper articles had an impact. We didn’t know, we just guessed that Linky might have had similar cases before. Tamas added that it would be good if he got three more years as a sentence, then spend five years of his life in prison.
