According to reports, sailboat personnel in the Danube Provincial Department of Constanta need to be extra vigilant if they do not wish to be reached with a loaded cargo. Főter.ro.
This phenomenon was highlighted by the fact that a few days ago, the police announced a home search of members of a group that had stolen 12 tons of sunflower seeds and 2 tons of diesel oil from a stationary barge under cover the night before Rasova.
Speaking of which, it turns out this is not a one-time phenomenon: Barges are regularly attacked in the Danube Provincial Department of Constanta, and a recording has been published showing pirates equipped with steamboats and hoses approaching the barge and then stealing about six tons of diesel from the fuel tank.
The attackers are armed with axes and iron forks to carry out their actions so that the crew members do not dare to interfere.
This phenomenon has always existed, but the current crisis has exacerbated the poorer population of the neighboring settlements, said one of the Romanian carriers of the International Transport Federation (ITF), sailing by himself.
