The Hungarian team of 41 players participated in the European Under-20 Athletics Championships from Sunday to Sunday, in which our team put together a total of 20 days. The best player was Varga Gerta who won the 1,000m in the 3,000m hurdles.
Only 17 Veszprém’s talent was left in the midst of incredible excitement only against German competitors below, and he became runner-up, bringing the Hungarian team’s only win in the Tallinn continental competition.
In a total of 12 competitions, there were Hungarian athletes who took the top eight, thanks to which we collected 32 points – from 45 participating countries – in 16th place.

fourth place: Kfar Fani (Spear Campaign)
Fifth place: Nadge Levente (400m) Marcel Nagy (Rogers)
Sixth place: Dominic Ilovsky (100 Inter)
Seventh place: Steigerwald Ern, Nadj Levente, Bnczy rpd, Attila Molnr (4 * 400 m above sea level), Zita Urbn (1500 m)
Eighth place: Great Richrd (110g), Spiller Tiziana (10,000m walk), Strigencz Zaln (disco), Tth Anna (100g), Easteast Village (hat)
In just under a month, the U20 will face an even greater challenge, as the World Championships will take place in Nairobi, Kenya, between August 17-22.
