Bianca Magyar, head coach of the TFSE-MTK women’s basketball team, has left her position because she wants to continue her career in the United States.
The coach, who spent five years with the Budapest team, which finished sixth in NB I, told MTI on Thursday that he craves new challenges.
“When I took over the team, it was in the second division, and now the girls have finished in the top six in the first division, so they can start in the European Cup in the fall. We’ve had five fantastic and very successful years, but it’s time for a change.
I want new stimuli, as well as more learning and development, so I envision my future in the American League on a coaching staff, and if that doesn’t work out, I’ll get a position at a European club.
said the 32-year-old specialist.
Bianca Magyar explained that last year she finished the highest FIBA course, with which she received the FIBA FECC diploma in three years.
In addition, big changes are taking place in TFSE, as the capital team played its last match in the Városmajor Hall last week, and will start next season in the modern arena in Csörsz utca, which will open this summer.
