Thanks to a special program, even the little ones can now learn the basics.
Thanks to a program run by Track Days UK, children up to the age of 10 can drive in the UK. The Under 17 initiative aims to make the younger generation aware of the basics before its launch.
Children 10-17 years old can train in a Ford Fiesta ST model equipped with the 1.6-liter Ecoboost turbo engine with the help of professional instructors. In fact, this is not a typical learning car, so program participants can have a special experience. Young people can learn the secrets to start, stop, accelerate, steer and change.
“Confidence and experience are the key to learning to drive. Young people with experience will find it easier to face hurdles in a traffic test.” Dan Jones, Chief Operating Officer of Track Days, said learning the basics of driving can be an enjoyable activity either during the summer vacation or during school hours.
Children with wealthier parents can try Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren or Aston Martin cars in addition to the basic program. A young driver’s 30-minute trial will cost you 16,000 Ft, and Junior Supercar Thriller will cost you £ 169, or Ft 68,000.
