There is a time when the gates of France are open for vaccinations

The French government said Friday that EU citizens who have been vaccinated with EMA-approved vaccines will no longer need a PCR test after June 9, but British and American tourists will still be able to travel only with a negative test.

According to a government document titled Strategy for Reopening Borders, France will establish three categories based on the epidemiological situation and regulate entry conditions accordingly.

Arrivals from green countries (Schengen area, Australia, South Korea, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, New Zealand, Singapore)

They can enter the country without proof of the purpose of entry, by PCR test no older than 72 hours or by vaccination.

Those coming from these states are free to travel after being vaccinated with EMA approved vaccines,

If it has been 2 weeks since the second dose of the two-dose vaccine and 4 weeks since the single dose.

From the red countries (South Africa, Argentina, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Republic of Suriname, Turkey, Uruguay)

They can only be admitted for urgent reasons and those vaccinated will be required to test negative and quarantine for 7-10 days.

Finally, testing and a 7-day quarantine is mandatory for those arriving from orange countries such as the US or UK, but they are not yet controlled by the authorities.

We need health security, and we should avoid importing different types of virus, which may call into question the French efforts so far.

Minister of State for Tourism Jean-Baptiste Lemoine said on RMC radio on Friday.
