Bayern Munich star Alphonso Davies will also be a member of the Canadian national team at the World Cup in Qatar, which will be held next Sunday.
Federation captain John Herdman on Sunday announced his 26-man squad, to which 39-year-old captain Atiba Hutchinson, who recently had an injury, has been called. The Canadian team will be in Group F, along with Belgium, Morocco and Croatia, the silver medalists in the World Cup.
