Fans of Legendary Civilization strategy games have had to be patient for a very long time. It's been eight years since the release of Civilization 6. Although more expansions and DLC have been released since then, the next big installment in the series is still unavailable. Fortunately, the wait will soon be over, but Civilization 7 is causing some confusion even before its release.
When will Civilization 7 come out?
Although there were many rumors about a new Civilization game last year, it was only a few months ago that developer Firaxis Games finally pulled the covers back and announced Civilization 7, which will hopefully be a true masterpiece. In order to achieve the greatest possible success in the great footsteps of the previous parts of the series, the team is preparing with many innovations. Some features that fans hated were removed, and a Game of Thrones star also made an appearance: Gwendoline Christie, who plays Brienne of Tarth, will be the narrator.
Civilization 7 is currently scheduled to be released on February 11, 2025. Now, however, Firaxis Games has created a bit of a mess.
