On Friday, France and Germany qualified for the final of the European Under-17 Football Championship in Hungary.
In the first semi-final, the Germans beat the Polish team 5-3 in Vilksit. The Poles took the lead in the seventh minute, and after nine minutes of equalization they again got the advantage. After the turn, the German national team switched to a higher pace, then decided the match in their favor in the 79th minute and scored another goal in the first half.
And in the second semi-final, the French national team beat the Spanish national team 3-1. There was no goal in the first half, and after a quick exchange of goals, the French scored in the 80th and 91st minutes, earning them the final.
England qualified for the World Junior Championships after defeating Switzerland 4-2 in the match for fifth place. After the Islanders advanced, the opponent reversed it, but in the middle of the second half, the English team scored three times in about ten minutes.
The top five from the continental tournament qualify for the World Cup, which will be held between November 10 and December 2.
