the Larian Studios One of the best when it comes to RPG games. They have been preparing for many years Baldur’s Gate IIIan early release available since fall 2020 on Steam. It was already a huge hit and is still one of the most popular games on Steam. In principle, the premiere will take place in a few weeks. The creators have now revealed details about how big the game actually is. In short: gigantic. Well, we are used to this from the studio, but now they can express dimensions in numbers. And in shocking numbers.

If the news is to be believed, Baldur’s Gate III will have a great deal of how-to videos that not even the larger series will be able to compete with. The total running time of the guides alone would be over 170 hours! For comparison, the total playing time on Game of Thrones, which has spanned eight seasons, is just over 70 hours. South Park’s 26 seasons also has approximately 162.5 hours of running time. This also shows how incredibly big Baldur’s Gate III is going to be. But similar data can be found elsewhere: the dialogues make up three times more texts than the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy. More than 600 magic items and other reading materials have been added to the game.

Baldur’s Gate III is coming to PC and PlayStation 5. According to original plans, it was due to arrive on August 31st for both, but it now turns out that won’t be the case. But this is very good news! The PC version will be released about a month early, on August 3! On the other hand, the PS5 release has been delayed for a few days, and is only expected on September 6, so that creators can guarantee stable 60FPS performance.
