Electronics maker Anker is also recalling three of its power bank products because they can catch fire.

Fire hazard power banks

You can order cheaply from many places online. Power banks (External battery or emergency charger in Hungarian). Although the devices seem simple, they can be extremely dangerous because of the batteries inside them: even a small mistake can cause a fire.

Sometimes even more famous manufacturers can face such problems. In the summer, for example, a similar situation occurred with IKEA, which we also reported on.

According to the portal, the affected products are:

• Anker 334 MagGo / PowerCore 10K Battery
• Anker power bank,
• Anker MagGo Power Bank Types.

They have all been identified by Anker as suffering from a manufacturing issue affecting lithium-ion batteries. The batteries can overheat, potentially causing their plastic components to ignite and cause a fire.

The manufacturer believes only a small number of power banks are affected, but all three models have been recalled as a precaution. The affected model numbers are: A1642, A1647, A1652.
